How Leaderboards and Accounts Work

August 12, 2026 · 6 min read

Guest play vs registered scores, weekly boards, and how to keep your ranking fair and visible.

Guest play vs registered play

Anyone can open a GameMinty title and play immediately as a guest. Guest sessions are great for fun runs, but guest scores are not kept on the public leaderboard.

When you register and log in, eligible score submissions can be attached to your username. That is how weekly and global rankings stay meaningful for competitive players.

Weekly and global boards

GameMinty tracks competitive scores in two common views:

  • Weekly leaderboard — resets on a schedule so new players can climb faster.
  • Global leaderboard — longer-term bests across the catalog.

Exact reset timing can change as we improve the platform. Always check the leaderboard section on the homepage for the current week’s standings.

What makes a score count

A score is more likely to stick when:

  • You are logged in before (or as) the game submits the result
  • The run finished normally inside the game
  • The result looks consistent with fair play (no automation or debugger cheats)

We may remove suspicious entries. Details are covered in Fair Play and Scoring Rules.

Tip: If a high score did not appear, refresh the homepage leaderboard, confirm you were logged in, and try one more clean run.

Account safety basics

  • Use a password you do not reuse on other sites.
  • Do not share accounts — rankings belong to one player.
  • Contact support if you need an account removed.
